Hi, I'm Caitlin, I'm seventeen, I'm from England and no, Peter Quill, I am not some starry eyed waif who'll give in to your pelvic sorcery. I'm at college doing a-levels, studying English Lit, Textiles and Geography because Physics just didn't like me enough. If you'd like to know more, feel comfortable to view my about me page. I'd proudly be in Hufflepuff house and one day I'd love to write something people quote in conversation and then are asked, "who said that?"
“I don’t think there’s any kind of preparation for sudden celebrity. I think you almost have this slight nervous breakdown when that kind of media attention happens. I mean, you’re doing the same kind of thing that you do all the time, only you have to make these weird adjustments. Like, you’re buying a slice of pizza and somebody’s outside photographing you which is weird — that’s not normal! It’s very uncomfortable.”— Scarlett Johansson
No matter what anybody tells you, words and ideas can change the world.
We don’t read and write poetry because it’s cute. We read and write poetry because we are members of the human race. And the human race is filled with passion. And medicine, law, business, engineering, these are noble pursuits and necessary to sustain life. But poetry, beauty, romance, love, these are what we stay alive for.
